My Beloved RTG passed away
Yesterday after coming back from work at about at 10.30pm notice 1 of my tank was weird, aro missing. Gave a thorough look and my aro was upside down and floating on the top water so goes to my other fishes.My Rio pump suddenly gave way and suspect it must be spoilt while I was at work.. I tried to blast my other tank air pump to oxygenate the aro and other fishes but to no avail.
This have been my saddest time of my fish hobby life... Kept this beautiful arowana since 2/5/11 and she was only 6" and point of death was about 20"... Other comrades that passed away together with her are my Tigirinus cat 10" and school of silver dollars.
I would like to share my experience with this beautiful arowana to other hobbyist about my high and low with her and the moving house x3 times she have been with me all along. She recognised me, she let me touch her, hand feed her and most importantly share a bond almost about 3years plus through my rough times. I promised not to sell her and even cured her gill curl w/o cutting her gills and I sort my own treatments which miracally healed. But 1 thing I didnt managed was to prevent her death because of faulty equipments.
I will never feel the same again rearing a beautiful arowana like mine, "baby" my rtg.
